Returns for Shoe Purchases

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return shoes purchased from ShoeRepair if:

  • The shoes are unworn, unused, and in their original condition (including tags, packaging, and accessories).
  • The return is requested within 30 days of the purchase date, as indicated on your receipt.
  • You provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation).

Note: Custom-ordered shoes or items marked as “final sale” are non-returnable unless defective.

2. How to Return a Purchased Item

  • In-Store Returns: Bring the shoes, along with your receipt, to our location at 201 N Edison St Ste 254, Kennewick, WA 99336-1987. Our staff will inspect the item and process your return.
  • Mail Returns (If Applicable): If we expand to online sales in the future, contact us at contact@shoesrepair.store for a return authorization and shipping instructions. You’ll be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.

3. Refund Options for Purchases

  • Full Refund: If eligible, we’ll refund the original purchase amount (excluding any taxes or fees paid) to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving and approving the return.
  • Store Credit: At your request, we can issue store credit instead of a refund, usable for future purchases or repairs.
  • Exchange: You may exchange the item for another pair of equal or lesser value (if lesser, the difference will be issued as store credit).

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective shoe or the wrong item due to our error, we’ll cover the cost of return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement at no additional charge. Please notify us within 7 days of receipt by emailing contact@shoesrepair.store with photos of the issue.


Refunds for Repair Services

5. Repair Service Refund Eligibility

Repairs are customized services, so refunds are limited. You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Cancellation Before Work Begins: If you cancel your repair request before we start working on it, we’ll refund any payment made in full.
  • Warranty Issues: If a repair fails due to our workmanship within 30 days of completion (e.g., a sole detaches due to poor adhesion), we’ll redo the repair at no cost or refund the repair fee if we cannot fix it.
  • Service Not Performed: If we’re unable to complete a repair as promised (e.g., due to unavailable materials) and you decline an alternative, we’ll refund your payment.

Non-Refundable Cases: Repairs are non-refundable once completed, except under warranty or if we fail to deliver the agreed service. We cannot refund for dissatisfaction due to wear and tear after use or if the shoe’s condition limited the repair outcome (which we’ll discuss with you beforehand).

6. How to Request a Repair Refund

  • Provide your receipt and explain the issue (e.g., photos of a warranty failure).
  • We’ll assess the situation and process your refund or correction within 5-10 business days if approved.

7. Refund Process for Repairs

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. For cash payments over $50, we may issue a check or store credit to ensure security.
  • Deposits for large or custom repairs are non-refundable once work begins, unless we cannot complete the job due to our fault.

8. Processing Time

  • Refunds for purchases or repairs typically take 5-10 business days to process once we receive and approve the return. Delays may occur due to bank processing times, which are beyond our control.
  • You’ll receive confirmation once your refund is issued.

9. Shipping Costs

  • For in-store purchases returned by mail (if applicable), you’re responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error or a defect.
  • Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable.
